We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Mental Health & Student Support Officer to deliver and lead School Wellness initiatives across classrooms, school culture, and community engagement. This role involves hands-on facilitation, assessment, and collaboration with students, teachers, and parents to promote holistic student well-being and learning readiness.
Plan and facilitate experiential, activity-based, and innovative SEL and Wellbeing sessions in assigned classrooms or beyond the classrooms, daily and regular basis.
Observe, monitor, and assess student behavior, engagement, and learning outcomes; conduct functional assessments and adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs.
Integrate creative teaching methods, including role-plays, games, storytelling, and digital tools, to enhance student participation and skill development.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and stakeholders to support student well-being and strengthen a positive school environment.
Facilitate inclusive and engaging learning environments that nurture social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress, outcomes, and innovative strategies implemented.
Mentor and support other facilitators or team members, contributing to team development and program fidelity.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experiential teaching and facilitation in a progressive educational setting.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with students, teachers, parents, and school leadership.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, adapt to dynamic school environments, and perform under pressure.
Innovative, creative, and proactive, with the ability to design and implement engaging SEL activities.
Professional attitude with strict adherence to organizational ethics and code of conduct.
Capacity to observe, assess, and adjust strategies based on student needs and feedback.
Work schedule may vary depending on the assigned educational institution.
